Council Meetings

General monthly meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month, from September to June at 7:30pm in the St. Marie Room of St. John Brebeuf church.

 

About Our Council

Winnipeg - St. John Brebeuf Council was founded on April 28, 1906.  It is the first Council of the Knights of Columbus in Western Canada.  The Council served several parishes in the city of Winnipeg until it moved to its present location at St John Brebeuf parish in 1995.  The Council works closely with St. John Brebeuf Parish, providing funds for various projects.  Many members are active participants in the parish involved many ministries.  The council is dedicated to the principles of the Order: Charity, Unity and Fraternity, and achieves its goals through programs which emphasize community, youth, church, vocations, council and family.  The Council consists of 100 members.

The council is also a member of the Capt. Miles MacDonell Assembly #0370 of the Fourth Degree which is the patriotic degree of the order.
